Reyes vs. Jeter

It must be baseball season. Already after a week and a day many questions keep popping up especially in New York. What’s up with the Yankee starting pitching? Will A-Rod choke again in the playoffs? Are the Mets really this good? One question really seems to be popping up all over though, Jeter or Reyes? Honestly if I was a GM for a team, I wouldn’t mind having either or for a shortstop. Jeter is a class act, a great leader and one of the most clutch players of all time. Reyes is an absolute monster of a player. He might be the fastest player in the game, could get a gold glove one day and once he is on the bases, you know you are in trouble. Plus he's starting to hit for power now. Granted Reyes is about ten years younger than Jeter which might make him better for the long haul to have on a team and even though I think that he might be the better player right now, I would still take Jeter. Maybe I’m a little biased since I’m a Yankee fan but I’m one of the few that doesn’t hate the Mets and never has. The Mets are actually a very fun team to watch play and both of my parents are Mets fans so what am I gonna do? Jeter, as I said, is one of the most clutch players of all time. He has four rings and the Yankees have been in the playoffs every year since he took over at short for the immortal Tony Fernandez. Basically my point is this, Reyes might be the better player right now, but get me when he’s won 4 rings and is as clutch as Jeter is.
