The Peyton Manning United Way skit that was on SNL last week may have been one of the funniest skits that I have ever seen. For someone who hasn’t really acted before except in school plays as shown during Super Bowl weekend, Peyton looked really comfortable up there. Showing the kids how to break into a car was hysterical, especially when the cops came and they all fanned out everyone for themselves.
Throwing the ball as hard as he could at the kids and then cursing them out for not catching the ball was another funny part. He even sent one of the kids to a port-a-pot and then yelled at him for not closing the door after he got there. He also chastised the kids and asked them if they wanted to win during a football game as well. Holding something under one of the children’s mouths’, who was getting a tattoo saying Number 1 Fan was also awfully funny. The tag line for the skit was another great piece to it as well; Spend Time With Your Kids So Peyton Manning Doesn’t Have To. From what I have said, you may think that he might be pretty brutal, but if you have three minutes, go to nbc.com and go to the SNL page and see for yourself. You will be glad that you did.
