NFL DRAFT

Sometimes watching the NFL Draft is like watching the grass grow. It's tedious, boring and quite possibly the worst thing to do on any given day. But any hardcore NFL fan loves it. I like watching the draft but I usually flip the channel to something else in between picks just because it can get really dull. That's basically because there is 15 minutes between picks. Seriously guys, do you really need 15 minutes to make a pick? The NBA does it in 5 and they survive. I am throughly convinced that some teams just don't know what the hell they are doing in the draft especially this year. First of all the Miami Dolphins. With Brady Quinn still on the board they take....Ted Ginn? Do they realize this guy's going to miss half of training camp most likely because of his injured foot? They then take John Beck a quarterback from BYU in the next round. He is going to have to have a better career then Brady Quinn and for that matter Ginn as well in order to justify that. Then the Philadelphia Eagles. Donvan McNabb needs some people to throw to. So they trade out of the first round not once but twice and then take....Kevin Kolb a QB from Houston. Ummmm.....yeah....I don't get it either. They lose their best wide receiver and really haven't given Mcnabb anyone good to throw to except for T.O and that worked o so well even though they did get to a super bowl. My point is that some GMs just don't understand their own team
